Dealing With Tough Times

Since 2017 began, it's been a huge downhill slope for me. I've had a couple serious family issues over the first two months, and last week I lost a family member to cancer. On top of this, there's a lot of pressure concerning A-Levels and getting a solid plan together as to what I'm going to do after college, as well as learning to drive, trying to juggle a healthy lifestyle and seeing friends. It's been a tough one, and sometimes its really, really hard to remember that things are going to get better.

For the vast majority of my life, I've had long, black, straight hair due to the blessing of my mother's Asian gene. I've never had to worry about straightening it, or it going curly in the rain, or even about damaging it because it had always been just fine in it's natural state.
